performing "Phaedrus" (hint: get ready!)

"the noble toga"

No, we won't wear togas and head out to the commons. Oh sure, I'm providing a handy "toga how-to" just in case you get inspired, but we will keep it simple, performing "Phaedrus" in the classroom on Monday, 1/24. Read up, get a sense of how you will deliver your lines -- are there moments where you might be:

  • emphatic?
  • curious?
  • sarcastic?
  • quiet?
  • embarrassed?
  • proud?
  • bold?
  • shy?
  • excited?
  • kinda sess-ay?
  • alluring?
  • ???

  1. Someone asked if you had to *memorize* "Phaedrus." LOL. Absolutely not. Print pages (I'll bring extra copies). Again, togas optional (but if you wear a toga, please don't flash the Dean) :)
